 Hospice Gala

On Saturday March 24th we held our first annual Hospice Gala at the beautiful Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville.  A sincere thank you to all of our Gala guests for their attendance and support.

We would also like to thank our entertainment for the evening "The Star Tools" band that played fabulous music and had the dance floor hopping!

Hospice Huntsville would also like express our gratitude to the businesses and individuals who have generously supported the Hospice Gala through their silent auction and prize donations.

St. Patrick's Day Tea

Thank you to Pioneer Memorial United Church in Hillside for hosting a St. Patrick's Day Tea Party on March 17th.  Guests were treated to lovely tea sandwiches and tea served in beautiful china tea cups.  Thank you to everyone that attended and volunteered, raising $317 to go towards the Hike for Hospice Huntsville.

 Thank you to the Junior and Senior Youth Groups of Muskoka Community Church (MCC) and James and Rachel Hunt who braved the chilly winter weather for 30 hours by camping outside! Thank you to all of the individuals, businesses and volunteers that helped make this a successful fundraising event!

Thank you to everyone that contributed to the Harris for Hospice Event. This incredible event raised $12,400 for Hospice Huntsville!  Congratulations to all of the successful bidders in both the silent and live auction! Special thanks to all the volunteers, Nancy Alcock, Kyra and Trevor for dedicating their time and energy to this wonderful project!  
 

 

On Stage For Hospice!

What an unforgettable evening of music & dance, uproarious comedy and live theatre vignettes by the North Muskoka Players! The sold-out show featured Sherisse Stevens, Gregg Evans, Jillian MacDougall, Katie Minnis, Suzanne Baxter, Chris & Amy Wallace, Jamie & Meg Jordan, Paul Feist, Pru & Ian Donaldson, James Fairbairn, Jim Jones, Kip Daynard, Jenn Creasor, Trey Rosenkrantz & the Neil Barlow Band and many other talented, incredible performers.  Thank you to everyone that attended the evening!    

 

Match Maker, Match Maker, Make Me a Match!

We had an incredible amount of community support in our Matchmaker’s Campaign. Two well-known community members Bob Bulloch and Liz Rice started off the campaign with a donation of $5,000. It was up to our community and hospice supporters to match the donations from the Matchmaker Team. The campaign wrapped up on October 15th and raised $50,810.00. Thank you to the fantasic Matchmaker Team Members, FM 105.5
and everyone that contributed to the campaign!

Honda for Hospice- The Great Car Raffle

 We have a Winner!

 A huge thank you to everyone who supported Hospice Huntsville by purchasing tickets for the Honda for Hospice Car Raffle. Congratulations to Mr. Bud Curtis of Huntsville!

Special thank you to Jason Armstrong's Huntsville Honda! Thank you to all of our amazing Hospice Huntsville volunteers, FITT Gym, Muskoka Foot Clinic, Curves, Treasure and Trophies, Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce and North Muskoka House that helped sell car raffle tickets. We raised $36,693 to help support Hospice Huntsville services and programs.
