Matchmaker's Campaign ~ Matchmaker, Matchmaker, Make a Hospice Match!
How can you magically turn $25 into $50? Answer: By donating it to Hospice Huntsville!
Two well-known community residents Bob Bulloch and Elizabeth Rice have started a Matchmakers Campaign. Bulloch and Rice have both put forth $2,500, but here’s the answer to the magic trick: our community has to donate at least $5,000 within the next few weeks. It’s all part of the Matchmakers Campaign that could see more than $10,000 go toward the Hospice Huntsville. Bob Bulloch has also engaged Peter Schwarzl and his wife Carol to join the team at a $2500 Matchmaker challenge.

Unique Fundraiser for Hospice
Novar resident, Joy Jarvis will be taking to the waters next summer in a unique Hospice Huntsville fundraiser. After a close friend and hospice supporter passed away from cancer almost two years ago, Joy Jarvis decided that she wanted to swim for Hospice Huntsville.

The Dream has become The Reality!
On Thursday, July 14th Hospice Huntsville celebrated the groundbreaking of the first residential hospice in Muskoka! With the "ceremonial tossing of dirt" on a beautiful Muskoka day dignitaries, community supporters volunteers and staff officially launched construction of the 5 bed residential hospice to be built in Huntsville. Thank you to everyone who attended the ceremony and joined in our celebration!

Hospice Huntsville is pleased to announce that Dr. Deb Harrold, Hospice Board President and Co-chair of the Capital Campaign committee was the recipient of an award in the category of Health, Sports & Wellness at the annual YWCA Women of Distinction Awards.
Deb Harrold, family physician, Board President and Co-chair of the Capital Campaign Team of Hospice Huntsville, is well known for her unrivalled passion for quality end of life care, her fierce determination, positive attitude, caring and compassionate nature and her unrelenting resolve to see a five bed residential hospice become a reality for our community. "Improving the quality of living and the quality of dying in our community is where my passion and focus, both personally and professionally have been since I began my medical career in Huntsville."
