World Hospice Day
Saturday, October 13, 2012
World Hospice and Palliative Care Day is a unified day of action to celebrate and support hospice and palliative care around the world. The theme for World Day 2012 which will take place on 13 October is "Living to the end: palliative care for an ageing population".
Anybody can get involved in World Hospice and Palliative Care Day and raise awareness and funds for their local hospice and palliative care service. These services need your help to ensure that people living in our community with life-limiting illnesses, their families, friends and caregivers receive the care and support that they need.
For further information, please visit the World Hospice & Palliative Care Day website at www.worldday.org.
