We are thankful for the creative talents and support from the grade 11-12 ceramics students of Gravenhurst High School

Hearts for Hospice is an initiative that promotes local artists & benefits Hospice Huntsville

Hospice Huntsville works hard to guide and provide consistent, comprehensive and compassionate end of life care that is readily accessible to individuals, families and caregivers in the setting of their choice throughout the greater Huntsville area.

These heart shaped ornaments symbolize our love for those who we have lost, for the community created by residential hospice and support of our mission. Many community members are impacted by our programs and services- we wanted to create an opportunity for reflection and commemoration.

 
Our latest installment of beautiful Hearts for Hospice: 
Hearts are hand sculpted and glazed with Hospice purple, followed by two fires in the kiln at 1875 degrees Fahrenheit.
Natural elements such as leaves and flower and rubber texture tools are hand stamped onto the surface of the hearts to depict the natural environment that surrounds us in Muskoka.
Each heart is crafted by a unique caring student and represent the beautiful individuality of the ones we have lost.

Only a limited amount of hearts available & only at Hospice Huntsville

Proceeds from the sale of these ornaments support Hospice Huntsville programs including residential hospice, visiting volunteer and grief and bereavement services.
