Hospice Awareness Days at Bullock’s Independent Grocer

 

 

Thursday, November 24 – Sunday, November 27, 2022
Bullock’s Independent Grocers will support Hospice Huntsville by sponsoring Awareness Days from Thursday, November 24th to Sunday, November 27th.
All funds raised during the Awareness Days will support Hospice Huntsville’s Giving Tuesday campaign.

 

Donate to Hospice Huntsville’s Giving Tuesday campaign with ease through Bullock’s Independent Grocers Awareness Days on November 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th. There are 3 options for making a donation:

Both ways will help support Hospice Huntsville and their Giving Tuesday Campaign to fund the purchase of 5 smart televisions for each of our hospice resident rooms.

 

 


Singing for Hospice

The Muskoka Rock Choir will be performing on Saturday December 3rd at the Algonquin Theatre, Huntsville. 10th Anniversary season presents “Human”.
Profits from the Huntsville performance will be directed to Algonquin Grace Hospice Huntsville.
“Come out and enjoy a wonderful evening of your favourite songs sung by over 80 singers with a live band featuring performances by Sean Cotton and Michael Phillips, with fellow musicians Rene Lavoie, Lauren McInnes and Shon Roper.
You will hear your favourite songs by Amy Winehouse, The Psychedelic Furs, TLC, The Who, Ed Sheeran, Prince, David Bowie and Queen, Rag ‘n Bone Man, Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, U2, and many more.
It is a concert all about what it means to be human and what it is that makes us different.”

Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care

“Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care” is prerequisite training for people that are interested in becoming a Visiting Volunteer.
The course consists of 3 virtual in-class sessions, as well as self-directed online learning, two peer-to-peer exchanges & one reflective activity.
Courses will be delivered over 9 weeks, approximately 30 hours.
The next Fundamentals course begins on January 11, 2023.
